![More often lately, I’ve considered a career change from the mortgage business.
It’s when I work with clients and TᕼEY remind me of ᗰY WHY.
I can’t speak for all loan officers. However, I will say that for those who have a soul [and don’t sit in a new build office], these are the reasons WHY we do what we do.
Does the money make it worth it? It honestly depends on the client. We can go YEᗩᖇᔕ helping/guiding/advising a client, and they end up going with another loan officer because of (insert any excuse here) when they finally get into contract.
Details of the transaction aren’t relevant, but I will say, I did surprise them on Christmas Eve with a bottle of wine and a nice house plant when I visited California during Christmas.
